“Freedom Road Heroes” is a visual tribute to the courageous people who have worked for human rights, civil rights, abolition and an end to the subjugation of oppressed minorities in the United States and beyond. These extraordinary souls dedicated their lives, talents and energies to a mission larger than themselves. Indeed, many gave their very lives for the cause. I honor these great souls with my art in the hope their example inspires viewers to work for the same rights for ALL people .
