Our world is in crisis.  The future is literally at stake. Dark forces are trying to take control, and will sacrifice many innocents in their path.

We all must choose a side, or be lost.  I side with those who fought for basic human rights: Safety, life, decency and the respect we all wish for.

There is no better subject matter than these leaders of the struggle for human rights, civil rights and human dignity.  Their courage and determination to work for a greater cause is my touchstone.  They ARE the great heroes of our history.

I honor them with brush and color, and I dearly hope they inspire the public, and the next generations coming up, to a way forward that honors ALL people and everyone’s right to safety and dignity and respect.
